WhatsApp video calling is now available as a new feature trending same as when WhatsApp voice calling feature stunned everyone: the feature is gradually rolling out for all users across the various platforms.

Note: Make sure you have a strong network connection when placing or receiving video calls. A poor or improperly configured connection may result in poor video and audio quality. WhatsApp video call for Android

lets you place a video call to anyone using WhatsApp. Video calling is only available to users who are on Android OS 4.1+. If your system OS is not supported, video calling will not be available to you.

Placing a WhatsApp video call

To place a WhatsApp video call, simply open the chat with the person you want to video call and tap on the phone button on top. Then tap Video call.

Receiving a WhatsApp video call

When someone video calls you, you will see an incoming WhatsApp video call screen. You can slide the green button to answer the video call, or slide the red button to decline the video call. Alternatively, you can tap on the message icon on the video call screen to decline the video call with a quick message.

WhatsApp video call for Windows

Video calling is only available to users who are on Windows Phone 8.1+. If your system OS is not supported, video calling will not be available to you.

Placing a WhatsApp video call

To make a WhatsApp video call, simply open the chat with the person you want to call and tap on the phone icon on top right of the chat screen, then tap video call.

Receiving a WhatsApp video call

When you receive a video call, you will see an incoming WhatsApp video call screen.

When you are within WhatsApp, you can answer or ignore the video call. Alternatively, you may reject the video call by sending a WhatsApp message: tap reply with message and select a quick message.

Video calling is only available to users who are on iOS 8.0+. If your system OS is not supported, video calling will not be available to you.

Receiving a WhatsApp video call

When you receive a video call, you will see an incoming WhatsApp video call screen. If your phone is not in use, you will receive a notification.

You can Accept or Decline the video call. Alternatively, you may reject the video call by sending a WhatsApp message: tap Message and select a quick message.
